Links In The Chain II

I have created a series of collages honoring  victims of institutional violence. Using charcoal on toned paper, I create original sketches of victims of this violence. I then take three of the sketches of the victims, print them out in different colors, cut them into strips, and create a collage.

This collage includes drawings of George Floyd, Sandra Bland, and Trayvon Martin. You may contact me for prints, or follow the link to order t-shirts.

There is a special intensity in working on this series. I try to honor the lives of these men and women, not just their deaths.
