Description of On The Reservation
You never know where a commission will come from. The storms a few weeks ago not only flooded my house, they also did minor damage to the roof. The new roofer and I were talking art (doesn’t everyone do that?) and he asked if I could do a drawing for him. Of course, the answer was “yes!” The first thing I said when I saw was the reference photo was “He was so cool!”
Based on a photograph of a loved one’s grandfather on the reservation during the late 1950’s this charcoal drawing was a pleasure to work on.
