Team Mate Love

When she moved to Utah, Utah State Volleyball player Kristy Frank, from Ukraine, quickly became best friends with her teammate Inka Mehtola, from Finland. When war broke out in Ukraine, Kristy was distraught with worry about her family in Ukraine. When they decided they needed to leave to stay safe, they had nowhere to go. That’s when Inka’s family in Finland stepped up. They drove to Ukraine, picked up the displaced family, and brought them to their home in Finland.
