Atatiana Jefferson was shot to death in her home by a police officer in Fort Worth. Police arrived at her home after a neighbor called a non-emergency number, stating that Jefferson’s front door was open and requesting a welfare check. Police body camera footage showed that when two officers went around the house to the backyard. Atatiana, who had been playing video games with her nephew, went to her window to see what was going on.
