Little Dog In The Desert

Thanks to some travel and other complications, this piece has taken me two months to finish. Well, that and the fact that this is an 18 x 24 inch canvas and each triangle is drawn free hand. And each triangle is multiple layers of color.
BUT I loved the reference photo of a friend’s little white dog wandering and exploring while on the Painted Desert. There was something about the large scene and such a little dog that intrigued me.
